Pediatric Critical Care Nurses provide care to children and adolescents who can be medically complex, have had a surgical procedure requiring a high level of monitoring, be highly acute or may have a life-threatening condition requiring a high level of nursing care. Taking this course can help to increase the nurse’s knowledge in order to care for this patient population based on current standards of practice and will help to prepare the participant to take the certification examination.
