Case Management

This Course is for nurses who currently practice Nursing Case Management and want to expand their knowledge in order to prepare for and take the Nursing Case Management Certification test as well as provide nurses working in this specialty area with current information to incorporate in to their daily practice.

The Nursing Case Management (RN-BC) examination is computerized, and offered throughout the year. The website at www.aacn.org will guide you through the application process.

Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Discuss the Fundamentals of Case Management.
• Identify the components of Resource Management.
• Apply the principles of Quality Management and Performance Improvement.
• Discuss the Legal and Ethical components of Case Management.
• Recognize the implications of education, learning, and health promotion as it applies to case management.In order to receive CHs\CEUs, participants are required to attend both sessions and complete an evaluation.
